Peak Leaves

Autumn is coming to an end in Northern Ontario by Georgian Bay. Most of the leaves have peaked and turned color and are fading or have been blown off from the wind. When all the leaves finally fall, it can be a very depressing time of the year. During November however, I look forward to staying inside and catching up on some of the processing that every image requires. I make trips to local provincial parks and conservation areas in hopes of very cold weather – the snow and ice make for some very nice images!

The oak trees last Saturday were at their peak. Back lit by the sun created beautiful neon yellows. I could stare at Autumn leaves for hours. Autumn hasn’t completely ended yet, and I hope to capture some good images before all these gorgeous leaves fly away.
